Manhole Raising Project
The City is accepting bids for the construction of the Manhole Raising Project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to sawcutting, excavating, backfilling, brick, epoxy grout (or equal), hauling, placing sewer rings and adapters, barricading, maintenance of traffic, lighting, concrete collars and all other tasks in connection with raising manhole castings, water meter boxes and valves, and gas curb cock boxes. Existing castings, boxes, and valves that can be reused will be salvaged and reset to grade. Castings, boxes, and valves that are in disrepair, damaged or poor condition will be replaced. Manhole castings, boxes, and valves are to be supplied by the City.
