MIDS Terminal Test Set
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst has to meet the sustainability effort to satisfy existing requirements in support of the Taiwan Air Force (TAF) P-3C platform to procure a LINK-16 aircraft test in order to minimize time between failures supporting TAF P-3C platform. The MITS 232 Part Number CMS-00173 test cable assemblies and the MITS 232 Software Part Number 984-2835-002 are necessary for troubleshooting and repairing failures on MIDS Link-16 units. The Government intends to issue a contract on a non-competitive basis for this requirement to Data Link Solutions, L.L.C.; 350 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. Data Link Solutions, L.L.C. exclusively holds all data rights for the specific requirements for successful unit testing. The anticipated quantities for each part number to be ordered are as follows:
CLIN 0001; MITS-232 Cables, Special Purpose P/N CMS-00173 QTY: 2
CLIN 0002; MITS 232 Software P/N 36758-32 QTY: 1
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
