MICHIGAN ENERGY EFFICIENCY GRANT: COMPACT FLUORESCENT LAMPS
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals that improve
energy efficiency, strengthen the economy of Michigan, and promote environmental
conservation through the promotion and increased use of ENERGY STAR Compact Fluorescent
Lamps (CFLs). Proposals should include plans for educating Michigan residents on the proper
disposal and recycle of spent CFLs, and/or plans for developing and establishing new CFL
recycling locations, or contributing to the efforts of existing CFL recycling locations. This RFP
invites proposals from nonprofit and public organizations.
