METERING SYSTEM SAMPLING, ANALYSIS AND INSPECTION SERVICES
The Authority is seeking proposals from qualified laboratories certified by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to perform certain field and analytical services including analysis of parameters. The field and analytical work is to be performed for a one year period beginning January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2010. Biweekly sampling shall be performed at 20 field locations (collection system manholes) in the Authoritys service area, for a total of twenty-six sampling events (of the 20 field locations) for the period of January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. Each sample shall be analyzed for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD's) and total suspended solids (TSS) in accordance with the sampling, sample preservation methods and analytical procedures required by the NJDEP. All samples shall be grab samples. NJDEP laboratory certification shall be required.
