Locate Underground Utilities Service, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Ft. Stewart, GA intends to issue a solicitation to have locate underground utilities services provided at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, and supplies, except as specified as Government furnished. Approximately 3000 locate requests are received per year with 2200 estimated at Fort Stewart and 800 estimated at Hunter Army Airfield. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The period of performance is to begin on or about 1 April 2014 and continue through 30 Sep 2014 for the base period with one (1), one (1) year option period. This requirement will be set aside 100% for small business under NAICS code 561990, locating underground utility lines prior to digging. The small business size determination will be $10.0 million. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The solicitation will be posted on or about 10 March 2014.
