Work consists of the installation of a natural gas engine-driven back-up pump at the lift station site. Additional work includes the following: construction of concrete pad to support engine/pump system; installation and hook-up of natural gas piping; installation of suction, drain, recirculation, and discharge piping; installation, routing and hook-up of instruments and electrical conduits; and connection of the engine/pump system to the County’s SCADA system; plus other improvements that are also necessary to ensure that the station will be safe in the event of future flooding in the area.
