The District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ") related to attorneys from qualified firms relative to the provision of legal counsel for redistricting services to assist the Board of Trustees in redistricting following completion of the 2010 census; such assistance to include all legal matters related to redistricting, including but not limited to; complying with the legal constraints and responsibilities of the U.S. Constitution, the Texas Constitution, the 1965 Voting Rights Act and amendments, the Texas Election Code, the Texas Education Code, other state and federal statutes, and any applicable city charter. This information may be used to identify firms to provide these resources.
