This is for firms that wish to be considered for an term
contract to provide one or more of the following services in connection with landscape architectural projects at the University of Virginia in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia Higher Education Manual (HECOM). The landscape architectural services provider will provide advice to the University staff in the following areas:
1.) Bicycle and Pedestrian Path or Trail Design
2.) Parking Lot Design
3.) Buffering or Screening Projects
4.) Site Planning
5.) Land Use Study
6.) Accessibility
7.) Sustainable Landscape Practices, including stream restoration
8.) Planting Plans
9.) Historic landscape studies and design within historic context
10.) Design for Stormwater Management Best Management Practices
11.) Cost Estimating
