Lagoon Repair & Improvements, Reclaimed Water System
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the replacement of one of the existing University of Idaho effluent lagoons with a 500,000-gallon cast-in-place effluent storage tank with pre-cast concrete cover. The tank will be baffled for improved circulation and will help extend contact time for chemical disinfection of the effluent prior to irrigation. Replacement of the irrigation pump building, upgrades to the pumping system, and demolition and filling of the second existing lagoon are also included.
