The Court is making needed caseflow changes in involuntary (civil) commitment matters. The work will involve facilitating discussions with all participants in the involuntary commitment process, including judicial officers, prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, clerk’s office staff, crisis and commitment staff, mental health professionals and hospital facility staff in order to understand the involuntary commitment process, concerns of practitioners and their positions.
