ACC-NJ intends to make a sole source award for repair of a Drop Arm Vehicle Gate located at the South Post Entrance to Ft. Devens, MA to Barrier 1 Systems, Inc. Award of work to Barrier 1 Systems is required to keep the warranty for subject gate arm in force. Additionally, work performed by any other source would require additional testing to maintain certification of gate performance level, the cost of which would not be expected to be recouped by savings resulting from competition.
