IOWA CITY TRANSIT ADVERTISING TRADE PROGRAM

The City of Iowa City is soliciting proposals from local media firms for Iowa City Transit (ICT) advertising. In
exchange for ICT advertising, the media firm will be provided advertising space on the exterior sides of 25 transit
coaches and/or the interior of 26 transit coaches and/or the back of 26 buses for use by the media firms for selfpromotion
purposes only. A one-for-one trade agreement is anticipated so that no cash will exchange hands as
part of this agreement between ICT and the media firm. The trade agreement does not, however, preclude ICT
from purchasing paid advertising from the media firm over and above the trade agreement. This trade agreement is
non-exclusive.
