Hawaiian Electric Company RFP
Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. ("HECO") hereby requests proposals for the supply and delivery of up to forty-two (42) million gallons of biofuel per year for a term of two (2) years to commence as early as July 2014 to be used as fuel for power generation at HECO's Kahe Power Plant, Kapolei, Hawaii ("KPP").There is no restriction on the minimum bid quantity and multiple awards are possible. HECO requests that responsive proposals be submitted to HECO by July 29, 2011 consistent with the requirements set forth herein.
