Fuel Storage Tank Removal and Site Remediation

The scope of work consists of the excavation, removal and disposal of four petroleum
underground storage tank (UST) systems and associated contaminated soil located at the
UMDNJ Norfolk Power Plant Building, Newark, NJ. The project will also require the relocation
of a number of utilities. The site restoration of the site may be submitted to the original form and
will be determined as the project progresses. The specifications for the project were prepared by
Lanagan Engineering and dated March 15, 2010. The Contractor must adhere to the
specifications for all removal and construction to satisfy DEP, state and local regulations.
