F-18 MAUS Production Units
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri and their authorized dealer NDT Solutions Inc., New Richmond, WI on a limited competition basis for ten (10) each Mobile Automated Scanner (MAUS V) P/N 257N144000-F18 pr 10-93-A21 in support of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft.
The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
