Energy Consulting Services
The energy consulting services contractor will advise the BPU on matters related to energy usage and energy procurements. The BPU services State government in all areas of energy involvement at the operational level including, but not limited to: assisting in development of energy budgets, developing energy savings projects among state agencies, developing and recommending energy conservation measures and facilities improvements, recommending funding sources for projects, and educating state agencies about energy savings related measures. The BPU also now finds itself in a position to concentrate on necessary State-owned building infrastructure improvements to energy resources, HVAC, lighting and electrical loads, building envelope and building automation systems, and other related improvements to decrease energy consumption.
