The City of Dover seeks proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of emergency ambulance services, as detailed in this Request for Proposals, for the contract period of October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2021. Proposal submissions clearly marked "19-0001CM Emergency Ambulance Services Proposal" will be received until 2:00PM, July 30, 2018 (7/30/2018) at the Purchasing Office located at 710 William Street, Dover, DE 19904. The City of Dover will accept and review all proposals received, including alternate proposals, to determine whether or not they meet the needs of the City. The City of Dover reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Dover reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason.
The contract period will be three (3) years with anticipated dates October 1, 2018-September 30, 2021, or commencing upon final execution of the contract, with the option for the city to extend it one (1) year, provided the vendor agrees to hold the prevailing prices. Said renewals will be agreed by both parties and shall be in writing.
All prices quoted shall be guaranteed throughout the contract term. Bid must include narrative information describing options of how vendor will provide information to the City for accurate billing.
Quoted prices should be shown in the chart which is attached to this RFP.
Payments shall be made to the vendor within 30 days after receipt of invoice.
Firms interested in submitting proposals for the Emergency Ambulance Services as detailed in this RFP shall submit five (5) original hard copy proposals and one (1) .pdf copy on a flash drive.
