The City of Sacramento Economic Development Department is soliciting proposals for the development of a destination-oriented cultural, entertainment and retail project in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. The desired project may include a variety of cultural and commercial uses such as live theatre, museums/art galleries, restaurants and movie theaters, nightclubs and mixed specialty retail as well as residential. Sacramento is the capital City of the worlds seventh largest economy and is one of the fastest growing, with a Metropolitan Area population of approximately 2 million people. The Project Site is publicly owned and located at one of Downtown Sacramentos key intersections positioned between the Citys Convention Center Complex and the Downtown Plaza Regional Shopping Center.
