NLACRC is seeking to develop two (2) negotiated rate specialized treatment homes, each with a maximum of four (4) adult consumers. The purpose of these homes is to provide consumers transitioning from a Crisis home or an acute psychiatric facility, and who are at risk of institutional placement, with a highly structured residential setting. The required treatment approach is behavioral, with an emphasis on teaching more adaptive social, communication and functional skills. A primary goal of each treatment home is to transition consumers to a less restrictive environment within 24 months of their admission.
