NLACRC is seeking to develop two (2) negotiated rate Crisis Homes. The objective of the Crisis Home is to provide a short term (3-6 month) intensive and comprehensive treatment program to adult consumers who are experiencing an emotional/psychiatric crisis that interferes with their ability to succeed in traditional community placements. The goal of the services provided by the Crisis Home program is to stabilize the consumers and enable their successful transition into a less restrictive and longer term living arrangement or treatment home.
Consumers referred to the Crisis homes will be adult men or women who have been identified by NLACRC as at risk for developmental center placement and have been referred to the RRDP as requiring deflection services.
