Design Build: Indoor Football Practice Facility, Florida State University, Tallahassee
This project consists of the design and construction of a new Indoor Football Practice Facility. The new facility will be located and integrated into the site of the current football practice fields, which may require reconfiguring to accommodate the new facility.
The new structure will contain approximately 65,000 gsf of mechanically ventilated and/or conditioned space and include the medical/training facility presently on the site. Interior lighting and elevated vantage points for coaches and video recording will be included.
The playing surface will be synthetic athletic turf and include goal posts. Occupancy is expected by July 2012.
