Demolition of 165 Flood Damaged Structures

The flood damaged structures identified in this request for bid were determined to be structurally
sound and, as a result, have been tested for the presence of asbestos containing materials
(ACM) and remediated of identified ACM and all other hazardous household waste, however, if
previously undetected quantities of ACM are discovered during demolition, work shall stop and
the DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR shall immediately notify the PROJECT MANAGER. The
PROJECT MANAGER shall inspect the structure and determine if further remediation is
warranted.
This Request for Bid is for demolition services for approximately 165 flood damaged structures in
the southwest quadrant. The necessary environmental assessments and
abatements will be performed prior to demolition.
The number of structures demolished shall be no less than eighteen-twenty (18-20) per week,
barring any unforeseen weather conditions or circumstances. If your company is capable of
performing demolition services for more than twenty structures per week, it is agreeable to the
City if the structures are available.
