DISTRICT WIDE ENERGY SYSTEM
The Office is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and entities to provide financial and economic services to the Department as Required to review, examine and provide technical support on
matters concerning the concept, feasibility, and implementation of a proposed District Wide Energy
System.
The state intends to contract with an individual or organization that can consult with and make recommendations to the Department as to the overall concept and viability of the System.
The intent of the new proposed system would be to meet the complete heating needs of the Complex as well as select City and other commercialbuildings in the area. The proposed system would also generate electrical power
through a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) application.
Proposals will be considered from individuals and organizations to undertake research and provide
targeted technical assistance in support of the outcomes identified and financial analysis as required.
