DFDAU Tester
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT THE QUANTITY.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires a quantity of ten each DFDAU Tester NSN 3460-01-505-8197 Part number 2229738-7 in support of the P-8A program. The resultant contract will include a base quanitty of 6 each and an option quantity of an additional four units. The Government intends to issue a contract on a sole source basis to Teledyne Technologies Inc. of El Segundo California. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only manufacturer of the required equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
