Culvert Repair Project
The project consists of the removal of an existing, 11-ft
wide by 7-ft high by 35-ft long (approximately), built-up steel plate culvert and construction of a new
concrete precast, prestressed, voided slab bridge, spanning approximately 60-ft and founded on round
steel pipe piles filled with rebar and concrete. The work includes but is not limited to: clearing and
grubbing, excavation, removal of pavement, sheet and round pile driving, forming and placement of
concrete and rebar, placement and installation of concrete precast, prestressed, voided slab girders,
stream channel restoration, paving with asphalt, and all other work necessary to complete the Work as
specified and shown in the Contract Provisions.
