Goals: It is the City of Boerne's desire to develop a comprehensive plan through a citizen-involved visioning process and market analysis methodology. The outcome of these processes should include:
Provide clear vision and direction for the future growth through a comprehensive plan developed utilizing the aforementioned process that includes the following:
Development patterns
Growth strategy
General land use policies
A housing strategy that helps insure a viable housing mixture in the community
The identification of future municipal facilities, park and possibly school sites
Provide viable development/redevelopment tools and options for "North Main"
A policy regarding how to sustain quality growth at a rate that is compatible with existing infrastructure and the community values
