Community Water System Generator Needs Assessment Program
The work will consist of performing assessments at interested community public water systems
to determine generator needs for backup power including equipment and materials needed,
generator size, fuel type, location and estimated cost. The assessment must consider the whole
water system process and include consideration of other important factors such as wastewater
power needs. A detailed report of the assessment must be provided to the Department and the water system
at the conclusion of each assessment.
