The Agency is seeking consultant support to conduct a Climate Change Vulnerability and Risk Assessment Study of transportation infrastructure, utilizing the FHWA’s pilot conceptual model. This effort will involve (1) the development of an inventory of transportation related assets; (2) the gathering of climate information (both historic and forecasted); (3) assessment of the risk to these assets and to the transportation system as a whole, resulting from projected climate change; and (4) development of adaptation strategies to address at-risk transportation infrastructure. This effort will be carried out in close coordination with FHWA and state, regional, and local stakeholders.
