The goal of this RFP is to provide the resources needed to develop the infrastructure for a statewide system of care that ensures the delivery, management and evaluation of mental health services to Montana children and youth with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and their families. The RFP process will identify and fund well-qualified entities capable of implementing local or regional systems of care for youth with SED through implementation of local Kids Management Authorities (KMAs). These projects will establish sustainable systems of care that provide wrap-around, client-centered services for children and youth with SED and their families. Projects chosen for participation will work closely with the Childrens Mental Health Services Bureau to implement and establish sustainable, culturally competent Kids Managements Authorities, and participate in the required evaluation component of the project.
