Research, education, research/demonstration and development of practices, measures or metrics
that encourage transitioning from highly specialized one- or two-product systems that are likely
to be more at risk from higher oil prices, climate instability and economic fluctuations, to more
resilient working farms and landscapes that have more roots in the ground, are managed for
multiple benefits, and provide more opportunities for farmers.
