Calibration & Repair of Cockpit Mapping Robot, P/N: B19387DA
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Thales AVS France SAS, Cage Code: F9111, for the calibration and repair of the Cockpit Mapping Robot (CMR) support equipment (P/N: B19387DA) used with Optimized TopOwl (OTO) Helmet Mounted Sight and Display (HMSD) systems. OTO HMSD systems are used in AH-1Z and UH-1Y United States Marine Corps aircraft.
Thales AVS France SAS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and owns the proprietary rights to the necessary data required to perform this effort.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
