C-40 Wing Maintenance Stand
Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey has a requirement for Wing Maintenance Stands (PN 9799-001, NSN 4920-01-509-8079), which have been specifically designed to perform routine maintenance tasks on or around the wings of the Boeing 737 aircraft. This requirement supports the United States Navy's C-40 aircraft program. It is the Government's intent to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to DAE Industries Inc of Louisville, Kentucky. This sole source procurement is based upon FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. DAE Industries Inc is the sole owner of the proprietary data necessary to manufacture this item and does not have any authorized distributors. All contractors seeking award must be active and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Responses to this synopsis posting should reference N68335-14-P-0252. A determination by the Government to not compete with this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation will be posted for this procurement.
