Bond Counsel Services

The firm or firms selected to serve as bond counsel will provide legal services related to the issuance of bonds, including drafting ordinances, legal opinions, and other required documents. The Citys bond counsel also may be asked to provide legal advice with special projects of the City, such as the development of new or innovative financing approaches, or analysis of the impact of proposed constitutional, legislative, tax, law, or other changes on the Citys financing activities. The bond counsel also will advise on post-sale activities, such as assisting the City with any IRS audits.
