Basin Diversion Dam and Headgate
The State is seeking proposals from engineering firms qualified to perform engineering design and construction administration for the construction of a new rock ramp diversion structure and modifications to the existing headgate structure at the Basin Supply Canal. The project will involve demolition of the existing 10’ high by 222’ long concrete diversion dam and construction of a new rock ramp diversion structure. The existing concrete headgate structure will be modified to replace the existing twin 14’-6” radial gates with four 6’ by 6’ slide gates. The consultant’s work will consist of engineering design, preparing engineering reports, preparing the Project Manual (contract documents, drawings and specifications), assisting with project bidding, providing construction inspection and administration services, preparing Record Drawings and preparing a Final Construction Report to document implemented project improvements.
