BROADCASTING RIGHTS HOLDER
The University seeks proposals in response to Request for Proposal from vendors who wish to enter into a contract to become the Official Broadcasting Rights Holder for UIL and UIL Championship Events (ref. Section 5.4.1). The Official Broadcasting Rights Holder will have exclusive rights to produce, televise and market UIL events in the form of videotapes, videodiscs, recording and other similar media. The services are more specifically described in Section 5.4 (Scope of Work) of this RFP and include, but are not limited to, the following components:
1)Hold exclusive broadcasting rights for television and Internet medias for UIL Championship Events including, but not limited to, Girls and Boys Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Track & Field, Baseball and Softball. Broadcasting rights will also include Football quarterfinal, semi-final, and championship games for all conferences.
2)Produce UIL Championship Events described in Section 5.4.1
3)Provide yearly monetary compensation to the University in the form of sponsorship rights and scholarship funds.
