The intent of this Request for Interest (RFI) is to seek all qualified responders to solicit official
Letters of Interest (LOI) to become the County-designated facility manager and operator of the new
Ashland Youth Center. Responders are applying for an initial four-year contract with the Alameda
County Community Development Agency, starting December 2009 and ending December 31,
2013. (Note: If an operator/manager is selected without the need for an RFP process, the starting
date will be in October 2009)
This RFI seeks a non-profit organization, for-profit company, public/governmental entity or
individual interested in managing and operating the soon-to-be constructed Youth Center building,
as well as managing the various youth-oriented services
