Artillery Power Data Assemblies
The U. S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract modification for Artillery Power Data Assemblies (APDA). This requirement is for an additional quantity of 57 APDA units in support of the M119A3 Howitzer Program to Milpower Source 7 Field Lane, Belmont, NH on a sole source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A), approved on June 17th, 2014 citing unacceptable delays to the Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B).
