Artillery Portable Universal Battery Systems
The U. S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for four hundred fifty (450) Artillery Portable Universal Battery Systems. This requirement is in support of the M119A3 Howitzer digitization effort to Milpower Source, 7 Field Lane, Belmont, NH on a sole source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A), is currently being staffed, addressing unacceptable delays to the US Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B).
