Analysis of ocean based renewable energy

The organization is seeking proposals for analysis of ocean based renewable energy in the southeast U.S. This analysis will assist the selection and development of transmission infrastructure to support gigawatt scale, ocean based renewable energy resources located off the coast of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia in an economic manner. The focus is on offshore wind technologies as determined to be commercially available within the next 10 years. This RFP covers Phase 2A which will identify potential offshore wind development areas and Phase 2B to estimate electric generation time-series data from identified potential offshore wind development areas.
