Alternative Energy Infrastructure, Initiative for Renewable Energy
The organization requests proposals for professional services to:
ï‚· Provide conceptual designs, purchase and installation of one (1) wind turbine comprised of a
single mast between 45’ and 80’ in height with a blade span measuring between 12 and 18 feet.
ï‚· Provide conceptual designs, purchase and installation of an array of photo voltaic solar panels,
totaling between 8 and 16 individual solar panels. Ideally, installation would consist of panels of
differing technologies from different manufacturers. Installation may occur at ground level or on
the roof of an identified out building.
ï‚· Evaluate, purchase and install monitoring software sufficient to gather and analyze data from
renewable energy infrastructure, including a previously installed Weather Monitoring Station
(Davis Plus Wireless Vantage Pro2). Said software must be appropriate for a high school learning
environment and be capable of interfacing with current versions of Mac OS X.
ï‚· Provide conceptual designs, purchase and installation of one (1) energy inverter capable of
feeding power generated back to the grid; owned and operated by Public Service of New
Hampshire. All necessary agreements between WIRE and PSNH must also be provided and ready
for signature.
 Coordinate and liaison with WIRE’s internal project team members, other external consultants
and vendors as necessary;
ï‚· Acquire or develop all permits, documents, etc. to support the installation and operation of the
aforementioned item
