Aging and Disability Resource Center
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the development of one local Aging and Disability Resource Center in an area comprising a metropolitan statistical area or 2 or more contiguous Iowa counties for older adults (age 60 and older) adult persons with disabilities (age 18 and older) and people who inquire about, or request assistance on behalf of, members of these groups. Applicant shall begin the process to significantly improve access to long-term services and supports by creating a standardized process that promotes improved access to long-term services and supports. This project is funded through a federal grant from the USDHHS Administration on Aging. An eligible applicant is any not-for-profit, governmental, or non-governmental community Department that coordinates or provides services and supports to persons with long-term service and support needs in a service area that meets the requirements defined above.
