Abandoned Well Plugging
The State is seeking a general contractor for a well plugging / site restoration program for three (3) wells. Anticipated Plugging Procedure: Bottom plug: sand to 3240’ & 5 sacks cement. Free-point casing. Top plugs: pump plugs through casing. First plug @600’ w/ 10 sacks gel – 50 sacks cement. Second plug @ 390’ w/ 50 sacks cement. Third plug @ 40’ w/ 20 sacks cement. 60/40 pozmix, 4% gel.
