The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Pensacola, Pensacola, FL, intends to make multiple or single awards for 2nd Quarter, FY16, Food Service bid for bread items at FPC Pensacola, 110 Raby Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32509. The contract type is a firm fixed price supply contract. The award will be made to the responsible business/individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. This solicitation will solicit solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date for receipt of quotes is December 17, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. eastern standard time (EST). All awardees will be notified on or before December 18, 2015. Expected delivery date of awarded items will be January 4, 2016 and throughout the 2nd Quarter. Items delivered after scheduled delivery dates may be subject to cancellation. All items awarded under $30,000.00 may be placed on a Government purchase card. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must have a Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) or (DUNS) number. Contractors may go to Dun & Bradstreet website at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Be sure all items are delivered as instructed, Food Warehouse contact you with special delivery schedule dates for the 2nd Quarter. Food Service warehouse hours are 7:30 am - 2:00 pm CST, M-F. 1.)All deliveries must be palletized.
2.)All non-frozen, perished foods must be delivered between 34 degrees F to 40 degrees F.
3.)All frozen foods must be delivered at 0 degrees F or below. Any products that indicate prior thawing will be refused.
4.)Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedule are subject to be removed from future solicitations for bid.
5.)All Certified Religious Diet items must be marked accordingly or will be refused.
Items must meet specifications as indicated. All items will be closely inspected. Items may require thawing and cooking to determine specification compliance. Receipt of delivery may be conditional for a period of three days to allow for adequate examination and testing. Items that fail to meet specifications will be refused. Items which are conditionally received and found to be unacceptable must be picked up at the vendor expense within 2 weeks of notification of non-compliance. If products are not picked up within two weeks, it will be property disposed of without notification to the vendor.
