Unarmed Guard Services - Meteropolitan Correctional Center, San Diego, CA
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The projected requirement is for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services to be provided for the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) located at San Diego, CA. The contractor will maintain constant guard and direct visual observation of federal prison inmate patients on site at a local hospital/medical facility designated by the Bureau of Prisons. It is estimated that 3,840 hourly guard sessions and 120 hourly supervisor sessions will be required for each 12 month contract period. Services will be required as needed and may be required at any time during a 24 hour period on any day of the week. It is anticipated that a resulting contract will consist of a base year plus four (4) additional one year option periods.
