This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-04.


The NAICS is 212321, Construction Sand and Gravel Mining . The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is 1000 Employees. This will be a total small business set-aside.


Delivery: 30 Days ADC


Description: Smoky Hill Bomb Range Target Area Improvement

CLIN Description
0001 Approximately 1405 ton of 1 to1 1/2" road rock, per section 1112
0002 Approximately 400 ton of 2" road rock, per section 1104

All questions are due by 22 August 2019 @ 1500 CST to POC's listed below.


Quotes shall be provided, signed, dated and submitted by 29 August 2019 @ 10:00 AM CST to both point of contacts listed below. The Offeror is responsible for ensuring the quote is received by the Government by the due date and time specified above. Failure to send quotes to both POCs or verify receipt of the quote may result in not being considered for award.

Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose quote conforms to the RFQ and is most advantageous to the Government considering price, past performance and technical capability. Quotes must include a description of the materials that will be provided. Quotes received that do not have adequate specifications will not be considered for award. In order to assist in your past performance evaluation, please provide a minimum of two relevant references with a point of contact that can be reached.
