TS1503 Twin Column with Carriage
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of businesses including 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Veteran-Owned Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112.
The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking sources capable of providing exact match or functionally equivalent equipment to the following products:
TS1503 MAVIG Twin Column with Carriage 460mm
One electrical and standard pin at the same height
Each pin offers 240 degree rotation
Max net load at spring arm adapter 39.7lbs
Carriage brake to lock arm in place
Life cycle rating of 10 years or greater
System must also at a minimum comply with the following standards:
a) Medical Devices Act (MPG)
b) MDD 93/42/EEC (2007) - Medical Device Directive
c) IEC 60601-1:2005-12 (edition 3.0)
Equipment is to be used with existing ceiling track in Milwaukee VAMC Cardiology's Siemens EP procedure rooms. One trolley for radiation shield, one trolley for surgical light (requires electrical pin connection). The required system is a spring-supported, rotating, and swiveling suspension system for use in surgical procedure labs and operatories in medical facilities.
System is not sterile, but can be cleaned with mild soap solution or commercially available detergents. Scouring agents, bleaches, or abrasive/corrosive agents or polishes should not be used. Disinfectant wipe compatible, not spray disinfectant compatible.
Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating capability of providing this or similar products. Please include your business size with your response. If providing a response to this notice and offering equipment as a distributor (non-manufacturer) offerors are required to submit proof from the manufacturer of authorization to distribute the offered equipment. If the information listed above in this paragraph is not included in the response to this notice the response may not be considered.
This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and responses will not be returned to the sender.
