CDC needs contractor services to support a prospective, population-based SUID/SDY Case Registry. The contractor will maintain the Case Registry system and provide updates to the system, codebook and data dictionary as needed. Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) built and supports the existing system utilized by CDC called Child Dealth review. MPHI developed and maintains the Case Reporting System. MPHI, as the parent company of the Child Death Review program, is uniquely qualified to continue to assist CDC with its technical assistance, data, and biorepository needs. Consequently, it is believed that MPHI is the sole source having the unique capabilities which will meet the above mentioned requirements of the CDC. It is the intent of CDC to award a contract with MPHI if this is found to be true.
