SLAC_Petawatt Laser Facility Conceptual Design
Introduction:
SLAC is seeking a qualified and experienced Architectural, Engineering, and Civil Design Team to work to provide a Conceptual Design Report (CDR) for the Petawatt Laser Facility (PLF). The CDR will include Conceptual Design drawings, reports, and estimates at 60/90/100% development stages
Optional Scope will include:
1. Option 1: A&E services to provide Design Guidelines and Performance Specifications (Bridging Documents) for a separate Design-Build contract.
2. Option 2: A&E services for Construction Phase Quality Assurance for a separate Design-Build contract.
Design work is to be prepared by a professional engineer or architect licensed in the State of California. All aspects of this project shall be performed in accordance with the Department of Energy Manual DOE O 413.3B Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets.
Note: For Offeror to be eligible for a subcontract award with the University and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Offeror shall be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. There is NO fee to register for this site.
