Repair services 15" touch screens for ADMACS
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with NAG Marine (Cage: 1PL37) for the procurement of repair services for 15" touch screens (P/N: 1181RS0007), which are manufactured by NAG Marine, in support of the Aviation Data Management and Control System (ADMACS) program. The 15" touch screens are components within the ADMACS system. NAG Marine is the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. NAG Marine is the original developer of the 15" touch screen. The 15" touch screen are essential components of the ADMACS systems. The designs are proprietary to NAG Marine so NAG Marine is the only vendor that can fix and replace hardware for the units without disclosure of technical data. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
