The purpose of this amendment is to remove the small business set-aside designation and offer full and open competition regardless of business size.

SUMMARY:

The U.S. Geological Survey, Southeast Region Office, based in Orlando, Florida, intends to procure a Real-Time PCR (RT-PCR) Cycler for Cyanotoxin DNA detection and analysis.

Quotes shall provide pricing and itemized component descriptions that meet or exceed the Specifications in Section B.2. The requested delivery date is within 30 days from the date the Contractor receives the purchase order.

This will be a firm fixed-price contract. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract. The best value determination will be made considering technical capability/specifications more important than price. Quote submissions are due on or before 06/17/2019.

All correspondence and quotes MUST be emailed to sruggles@usgs.gov.

The acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334516 and size standard is 1,000 employees. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract.
